The fundraising minimum for individual riders is $350. Remember, your registration fee counts toward this total, so the simple fact that you have registered puts you closer to that goal! For families (adults and kids living in the same household), we ask that adults raise $325 and that youth (8-18) raise $150. Children under 8 are not required to raise a certain minimum, but are encouraged to fundraise in order to win prizes. The fundraising minimum is optional for sighted tandem captains riding with a blind or visually impaired athlete and for outriders.

Volunteers are not required to fundraise, but are, of course, welcome do to so, and are eligible for the same prizes as riders. What do I get in return for my fundraising efforts? For starters, you can be proud of what you are doing for BORP's participants. Know that every donation is creating opportunities for youth and adults to experience the inner-strength that comes from successfully setting and meeting goals, be it on the playing field, in school, or at work.

But, okay, we also know that free stuff is fun! Every rider who meets their minimum fundraising goal is invited to join the Food, Wine & Music Festival following the ride. That means, just by doing the minimum, you get a scrumptious meal, a professional massage, wine-tasting, and so much more!

In addition, we have a few free offerings, for those who go beyond the minimum. Once you get started, you'll see how easy this can be. And if you ever feel stuck, let us know! We'll help you get to whatever goal you set!

Prize: Revolution 2007 cycling jersey AND an invitation to a post- Revolution VIP event for individuals who raise $750 or more, adult family members who raise $650 or more, youth who raise $325 or more.

Prize: One night free accommodation at the Fountain Grove Inn, plus the Revolution 2007 jersey and VIP event for individuals who raise $1500 or more, adult family members who raise $1000 or more.

Team captains recruit friends and family to join The Revolution! Captains are asked only to meet the minimum fundraising amount, in exchange for your time spent recruiting new riders and encouraging their fundraising efforts.

Yes, of course team captains and their teams can earn prizes! Captains who recruit just 2 new riders earn a Revolution 2007 cycling jersey AND an invitation to a post-Revolution VIP event. Captains who recruit 4 new riders earn one night free accommodation at the Fountain Grove Inn, plus the Revolution 2007 jersey and VIP event. The team that raises the most funds wins an exclusive custom bike tour with Black Sheep Adventures!
