USA Paralympic Goalball Team Visits BORP for Unforgettable Practice Session

BORP’s goalball team enjoyed a memorable practice session last month thanks to a special visit from members of the USA Paralympic Goalball Team who were in town attending a training camp. This group of elite athletes graciously jumped right into our practice- providing our BORP players with some general pointers and specific coaching insights, demonstrating their exceptional skills, and sharing their experiences of competing on the world stage. The visit energized the BORP team, who are now excitedly anticipating the opportunity to cheer on the Paralympic team at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. Fans can catch all the action as the USA Goalball team kicks off Paralympic pool play against Brazil on Friday, August 30.

A large, diverse group of people, including members of BORP's goalball team and the USA Paralympic Goalball Team, pose together in an indoor gymnasium. They are smiling and appear to be in good spirits, celebrating a successful and engaging practice session. Some are wearing goalball gear like sleep shades or kneepads, and a guide dog is also present in the photo.
