The REV - FAQ

Sunday, May 12, 2024. This falls on Mother’s Day, and we will have some Mother’s Day Moments recognizing BORP mothers, and mother figures.

Check out the registration information here. It is a 2-part process this year. You’ll start with the link to create your fundraising page, and then once that process is complete, you’ll register for the event itself During the event registration process, you’ll be able to apply your registration fee to your fundraising page, so that your registration fee counts towards your fundraising minimum.

If you have questions about the registration process, please contact us at RevRide@borp.org

We start, and hold our celebration at the Hyatt Hotel in Santa Rosa, at 170 Railroad Street, Santa Rosa.

The hotel phone number is 707-284-1234

If you’d like to stay in Santa Rosa before/after the event, you are welcome to book a hotel room at the Hyatt, or a neighboring hotel.

For the first 10 folks who register and raise more than $750 by the end of March, they have the option of a free night’s stay Saturday 5/11, the night before the REV.

No, we will not have bikes for rent at the event.

If you would like to use one of BORP’s cycles, you will need to note that in your registration and connect with the Adaptive Cycling Center to assure that your bike of choice is available.

Most people do bring their own bike to the event. We will have an area designated for bike parking inside the garden area where our event is held.

You can ride just about any kind of bike at the REV, and we have adaptive bikes you can borrow by noting the request on your registration form and reaching out to our Adaptive Cycling Center.

Once you are registered for the event, you may reach out to the Adaptive Cycling Center directly to reserve your bike. Please be sure to note that you’d like to borrow a bike during the registration process.

To contact them directly for more information, contact cycling@borp.org. Always include your phone number in your email communications with them.

The fundraising aspect of the REV is peer-2-peer outreach. Funds are raised in a combination of ways, including:

    • Riders reaching out to friends, family, and businesses for support.
    • Rider’s writing checks themselves
    • Matching donations
    • Sponsorships

Funds raised for the REV support all of BORP’s programming: cycling, fitness, adult sports, youth sports, adventures & outings, and more.
