Lori Gray’s work in the field of adaptive outdoor recreation has spanned more than 40 years. She began by working as a white water rafting, sea kayak, and cross-country ski guide for Environmental Traveling Companions before joining BORP in 1999. As the Adventures & Outings Coordinator, she organizes and leads outdoor adventures, and conducts disability awareness training. Lori works tirelessly to educate others about the need for equal access to outdoor recreation and is an ardent advocate for increased accessibility of the outdoors. In 2020 she was voted Californian of the Year by the Outdoor Writers Association of California.
