Before retiring, I was an attorney for 25 years at Morrison & Forester where I served as the Senior Pro Bono Counsel.
I have been involved with BORP since her college days at Cal Berkeley in the early ‘80s and has been on the board for the last four or so years. I’ve also served on a number of boards for legal service or disability rights organizations and most recently was the chair of Disability Rights Education & Defense Fund.
For recreation, my husband and I love to sail. For the last five years, I served as the Commodore of the Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors. BAADS is an all-volunteer organization with both small boats and larger keelboats that sail every weekend out of Pier 40 in San Francisco
I loves BORP because everyone should have an opportunity to participate in organized sports and recreational activities especially people with disabilities.
