Lucas Tobin is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional, serving as San Francisco Recreation and Park’s Supervisor for Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion Services and ADA Coordinator for Programmatic Access.
In addition, Mr. Tobin is a Lecturer Faculty for the Recreation, Parks and Tourism department at San Francisco State University, teaching Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion, and Urban Recreation and Parks courses. Mr. Tobin received his Master’s degree in Kinesiology from SF State and is fluent in American Sign Language. Living in Berkeley, California with his wife and two sons, Mr. Tobin believes that recreation is the stuff that makes life good, and has spent more than three decades working to remove barriers to recreation faced by the Deaf and disability communities.
